On June 16, 2024, MidAmerica Productions, Inc. presented its 700th performance at the iconic Carnegie Hall. This landmark event took place at the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, a venue renowned for its artistic excellence and storied legacy.
"We are thrilled to mark our 700th performance at Carnegie Hall, a venue that has served as a beacon of artistic excellence for generations," said Peter Tiboris, General Director and Music Director of MidAmerica Productions and MidAm International.
To commemorate this historic occasion, MidAmerica Productions, Inc. curated a special concert program that showcased the diversity and richness of the choral tradition. The performance featured the New England Symphonic Ensemble, choirs from around the nation, and distinguished soloists presenting an afternoon of New York premieres by composers and conductors. Highlights of the program included Jordan Lee's musical odyssey, A Journey Through the Nourishment Cycle, which I had the honor of conducting.
Returning to Carnegie Hall for my second appearance is an incredible honor. This performance was particularly special as it celebrated such a significant milestone for MidAmerica Productions. I was deeply honored to be part of this extraordinary event and was excited to share this momentous occasion with my fellow musicians, the audience, as well as my family and my son.
